Slab Leak Repair & Reroute

SERVICE OVERVIEW

We’re San Diego’s Preferred Plumber For Slab Leak Repairs & Reroutes

Here in San Diego, we experience earthquakes and aftershock from time to time, and this shifting in the ground below the foundation of our homes and businesses can put a lot of pressure on the concrete slab itself. The problem is, when the slab shifts or moves, it can cause the water supply pipe running underneath your home to crack or leak — which means water waste, water damage, and health hazards. These slab leaks can also occur as the result of house settling or natural shifts in the ground beneath the home or business.

Identifying Slab Leaks

Do you have a slab leak? The sooner you identify and address the problem, the better! Water damage can be costly and devastating, especially if major damage is done before the problem is located.

Here are some signs of a possible slab leak:

Mold in your basement (especially under carpeted floors)
Pooling water on your floors
Hot spots on your floors
Decreased water pressure
Pooling and puddles outside of your home
Cracks in your flooring
You can also test for a slab leak by turning off all faucets and watching the water meter needle closely.

Increased water bills
Water sounds (like hissing) even when you’re not using any fixtures
Buckled/cupping laminate/hardwood floors
Cracks in your lower walls/trim
“Sticky” interior doors
Musty or damp smells
If the red needle is still moving, there’s a good chance you have a slab leak.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Justin did an excellent job clearing our shower drain in record time. He recommended the use of a small screen to catch most of the hair from clogging the drain. We have used Steele many times and have always been very satisfied. Linda V
